Responding To Climate Change

            As an old Filipino proverb say,“Walang permanente sa mundo”.

            Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distributions of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions.  It is caused by factors that include oceanic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions, and human induced alterations of the natural world; these latter effects are currently causing global warming, and climate change is often used to describe human-specific impacts.

            So we should change also and treasure our environment. Value them and treat them as our own family.

Reflection

            As we go on with our lives, we’re going to face problems and troubles. And it’s part of life.

            During the second chapter of my life, I have learned a lot of lessons involving computers. I wasn’t really at it but now I’m still on the process on developing my skills on how to manage and use the computer expertly. It’s quite hard that’s why I’m trying so hard to be able to cope up with class.

            I hope that the next chapters are going to be smooth and easier but I will still be learning a lot of things about computers that could help me in the future.

"Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy"

We are now living in the age of technology. High-tech phones and gadgets like laptop, ipod, etc. But, is it good to our environment?

Scientricity was derived from the two words “science” and “electricity.” They were combined because of their capabilities. It is to indulge people to an abiding and enduring use of energy without destroying the environment. Let’s enthusiast everyone to have a sustainable energy and to render their compassionate help and support. When there is no Science and Electricity, we will be ignorant to many things. There will be no future waiting for us and feels like we’re living in a world of emptiness.

We should protect, love and take care our environment and natural resources to have a peaceful, beautiful and perfect place t live.

My Teacher, My Hero

If people utter the nomenclature “heroes”, the first my mind coagulate are the people with superpowers. People that can fly, jump from roof to roof reaching the outer space, people that have the capability to walk on the bodies of water without sinking down and getting wet. And those people which can carry a car with his single finger. But, I always ask myself, do heroes really exist?

There was once which I regard most as to be the greatest hero of all times. They mold us into a better person. They teach us hundreds of good manners that we should imply wherever we go. They embold us the things that are wrong and good and the t5hings that we should and we shouldn’t do.  They teach us to be fair and honest in making our decisions. Professionals will never exist without them. They serve as the bridge so that in the future we can stand up with fame and intelligence. And they also teach us on how to overcome with the challenges without depending to anyone. They are, no other than, the TEACHERS.

No one could replace your heroic deeds which you’ve shared to the needy minds. You are all in one; a mother, a role model, a friend, a life mentor and most of all, a genuine hero – a tribute from God above. May you continue to indoctrinate young people for the success of the near future.

SONA 2012

President Benigno Simeon Aquino II delivered his 3^rd State of The Nation Address last July 23, 2012 at Session Hall Of the House of Representatives, Batasan Pambansa Complex.

During his first three years as a president, I’m not satisfied yet with his accomplishments. He didn’t even mention some important matters in his speech like the current bills and the OFW. He acted as if he doesn’t care about the lives of the OFW who are working hard in other countries just to have a better life here in the Philippines. He mentioned that the crimes here in the country have decreased. But if you watch the news, there are so many crimes happening in the country. And last, about the endless debate of Reproductive Health Bill. He said that this about the “Responsible Parenthood”. Is it right? I don’t think so. But what does he know about it? He doesn’t have his own family and he is being linked with so many women.

Well, I hope that his remaining years will be batter and successful especially his programs. I hope and pray that it will be a big help for those who really need it.

The New Me

When I was still a child, I dreamed of becoming a princess in a perfect world where sadness has no space for me. But as years passes by, I realized that I’m not a child that should always be pampered anymore.

We should face all the problems and responsibilities we may encounter in our life. Because if we may able to pass this challenges, it will bear a good fruit. There comes a time that we need to decide in our own and to live independently. We should all face the consequences from our own decisions and not just escape from them. We should learn how to cope and encounter them with bravery, honesty, and intelligence.

No matter what happens, we should not forget our family and friends who helped me become a better person and never left us alone in times of difficulties, lastly, God our creator, who will be forever with us. Let’s be thankful because without them, we’re nothing. Live life to the fullest!!

Insights about Modern Heroes

“SUPER MOP”

           Who says that everybody can’t be a hero?

                      Everybody can! Even if you are at the top or bottom or may be in the middle. But whatever position you are in, there’s no any reason of being underestimated. Don’t mind other people say about your job. Even if you have the least salary, don’t be affected by them. Just be honest and maintain the cleanliness of your name.

                      They say hero is the one who saves us in times of troubles, or accidents with super powers and can fly. Wake up! You’re not a child anymore. Be aware of what’s happening around us.   

                      The one I consider a hero is the one who doesn’t have any super powers and can’t even fly. Instead, he has a “super mop”. They wake up early to go to their designations and make everything clean and orderly. They don’t even care if how wide or how dirty their area is as long as they can clean it. They even clean the dirtiest place which is the comfort rooms, I guess. They return back everything they found that’s not theirs. They are not interested in any of it. They are only interested in returning it back to the owner. Honesty and dignity is what matters to JANITORS.

                      If ever, I would rather be a janitor who is honest and has dignity than to become a famous person who became famous with bad intentions. Don’t even underestimate janitors. Rather, admire those janitors with pure heart than admiring people who are greedy and self-centered.  

“Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino”

As Dr. Jose Rizal once told, “Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa amoy ng malansang isda”.

Going back from our past generation, our ancestors once aimed for freedom of their native land. Through this historical expedition, they made use of nothing except our own utterance as their weapon. Through Filipino, they succeed!! Through Filipino, they attained what they are aiming for!! And through Filipino, we are embracing now that deliverance from hearts, souls to our race. 

At present generation, this scheme is slightly shifting until the presence of being nothing. Many do admire other languages than our own. But few are still in their foot and stood up with their natives. Being a Filipino was accompanied with great responsibilities; being a Filipino is a great deal.

Use it, practice it and see how it dominates you and your native land into a better sound of being.

Healthy Lifestyle

                                    The Nutrition Month Celebration was celebrated during month of July every year. This year’s theme was “Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw Itong Ihain”. Why should we eat vegetables? Is it good for our health? What benefit do we get from them?

                                    We should eat vegetables everyday. They have different nutrition that can help us become stronger, livelier and healthier. They can also help us have a slimmer body through proper diet. They help us have a more functional and accurate mind to think what’s best for us in our daily living. That’s why we should stop eating those oily foods that have a lot of cholesterol, too sweet foods, too salty foods and junk foods. It is not good for our health. Those foods may cause us to have different diseases. So, always eat vegetables we’ll be healthy for the rest of our lives with proper exercise and proper diet.

                                    Let’s get used in eating vegetables everyday. So that we’ll going to have healthy living, and healthy lifestyle with less problem with our health.

                   A pleasant day to you, Sir! First of all, I would like to thank you for all the good things you have done to our country.
                 Our town’s major problem is the black sand mining done by the foreigners. The people living near the sea are scared because of the tidal waves that might happen. Also, the sea becomes deeper and deeper that the residents are already afraid of taking a bath on the sea. And the sea comes nearer and nearer. Everybody were so afraid that one day the place will just sink and disappear. Our whole town were wondering why they allowed those people mine at our place.

                   Wishing you God’s perfect touch and bless your heart with peace and love always.
